Default K & N Filter MAF

Should I have any problems with a 3 inch cone K&N filter on the MAF, inplace of the stock box and cone? SHould I worry about heat soak?

Heat soak doesnt apply to a intake

If you want sound for the dv, then sure, do it. If you think your getting performance, your really not. But no problems but a chance of oil from the filter to the MAF.

If someone says "get a sh!tshack" im going to expload!!

In my opinion, oiled k&n filters are not friendly to the MAF... I would suggest getting a AEM dry flow filter or likewise

If done correctly and directions followed, K&N's are fine. I have ran them in all of my vehicles for years w/o any issues. Most people's problems stem from over oiling and/or not allowing the oil to completey wick and dry.
