Default K04 upgrade problems.

Has anyone else upgrade to the K04? I am having an issue. The dealer says the OEM hose going from the turbo compressor outlet pipe to the charge pipe won't fit. APR & ESC tuning say the stock one should work. I plan on getting a silicone hose kit on the car later down the road, but I am trying out if this is going to work...
Thanks.

the ko4-001 is a direct swap. Waste of money imho when a ko3s is about $150 used on vortex.

ko4 is a direct swap it will work. nothings going to happen performance wise tell you remap the engine and even then your not using the right injectors. so basicly if you already have the ko4 you gotta a nice little spare baby turbey

ECS Tuning also say the K04-001's a drop in too, w/o anything else - but Axis Motoring, where I'm at, says you'll need the injectors, tune, probably a set of slightly colder plugs.

The way ECS makes it seem, it'll work, but you just won't utilize it's full potential (but I don't know if it also means that it'll run worse than before either).

Would you need new injectors for a K03S or can you just use upgraded K03 software (like GIAC, APR, n' the others)?

I have an '01 180Q, but w/ an ATC mill (meaning the base K03, right?).
