last night i was driving up my friend's driveway and heard a loud bang/pop sound. i knew it wasn't good. as i was driving up the driveway more, i heard some rubbing noise with some clanking metal sound.

i stepped out the car and this is what i found...

that doesnt look right...

the culprit! a snapped driver's side rear LCA. these were the adjustable LCA's from precision_TT's group buy...








now here's the passenger side's healthy LCA. what it should look like...




i think this is it. gonna part her out soon. will keep you all posted....

Atleast you were not going too fast. I don't know if I would trust the other side anymore.

Stress to the metal... Repeating banging from bumps, maybe a flaw in the metal when it was manufactured.

this is a slight warning to ALL of you who purchased precision TT's rear adjustable lca's. becareful and hopefully this doesnt happen to you on the freeway.

I was just trying to decide how to fix the camber problem....guess ill go with the bushings.

Very lucky that it happened while creeping up the driveway!

^ if i recall, you also got a set of precision's LCA's winter. umm... find a way to reinforce the spherical joint to save you a headache and maybe your life in the long run.
