Default leather shift ****?

I hate hate the stock shift ****. It gets hot in the sun and its not comfortable. I want something leather and something that feels better. I tried something I ordered online, but it didn't fit and it was way too tall... Any ideas?

not sure how handy you are, but you could make yourself one of these. It's a phenolic resin billiard ball. You drill a hole straight through both 8s, tap out the threads on the inside, flatten out the top just enough for the 6spd pattern from your stock **** to fit. I live in Florida, and have no tint, and it's NEVER been hot to the touch. It will never lose it's finish, and will probably last longer than my car. And no, you can't see the 8s on it. Best part, it only cost me $12 for the ball.

Thanks. I was tired of looking at ***** in the $100 range that were made of junk. The phenolic resin is almost indestructable. And for $12, you can do any color you want. I would like to do a white one for a white TT. That would look awesome! The weight of it is really nice also. It's a little on the heavy side, and makes the shifts feel more positive.
