Got my car tinted, VA legal so not too dark, 35% back, 50% sides

Looks great. Only if you could of gone just a bit darker on the sides []

 

Where in VA do you live? I live in Richmond. I said damn the man and got mine at 18%



edit: 18% all around. Also got a ticket for it about two weeks later d'oh!

 

That looks nice. My car is presently 35%. I am going to retint my sides to 50%. That's legal for the driver's window in OH. I don't have the best night vision and the 35% is hard to see out the sides at night.

 

PA sucks. I'm not even gonna bother with mine. It's gonna look halfassed unless I wanna get pulled over.

Then again, I do wear glasses. Maybe my optometrist could write me a prescription for sensitive eyes...

 

did you do it yourself or go to someone to get it done?

 

IMO, 35% on everything expect the rear windsheld, 30 % on that, is the best. However, I am one of the few who think that is dark enough....

Not to be rude, but I think 50 % anything is a waste of time. The car already comes with UV protect on the windows. I supose the difference between 35 % and 50 % isn't *that* huge though.

I'm at the beach (military, surprise).

I was tempted as hell to just say **** it and get 35% all around, but it wouldnt look good if i kept getting pulled over for it! On my scion i had 5% all round, got pulled over instantly everywhere i went (had IL. plates) and had to roll down the windows at night to see out of them!! I think i did it just for the look more than anything.

Got it done at a local place called "TNT Tinting" lifetime warrenty and they did a good job!

Next come the wheels!
