Ok i checked to make sure my switch is in the off position.. i tapped my brakes.. what else ? I have the rear brake lights on and the middle 3rd light. They wont go off, i turned the car on and off again.. still on !

Brake switch. You'll have to remove the lower dash panel. You'll see a plunger type switch attached to the brake pedal bracket.

It may have just popped off, but if it is not working you'll need to replace it. The part runs about $30 at the dealer.
