Looking on some opinions on a possible purchase (add included)
Hey guys, Have been here for a few years, started with my 00 A6 2.8 then I had an 02 1.8 Quattro A4. NOW I'm considering picking up this TT.
Like the add states, 2002 convertible @ 107k miles. This is the 225 NOT the 185 as per the VIN. I know I need to do a TB job and I'm thinking the turbo might need to be changed out soon. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I just wanted to get some opinions here first before I got down.
I'm looking at putting down $500 and financing $6500 for a total price of 7k out the door. KBB puts the value right at 10k retail and Edmunds puts it right @ 8K.
Also on a side note, I work at an import car parts store and get all my parts at cost with free shipping. We only deal with OE or European parts, so quality is good. I'm sure I can change out the TB myself as well as routine maintenance and up-keep.
Would you guys jump on this deal???

Thats just the way things are around here sometimes
I have never been much of a roadster fan but it seems like a decent deal. Best thing you can do is look on your local classifieds and see what it is actually worth by comparing to other cars in your area. Good looking car tho!
