losing oil?

no, the loss at that rate would be noticeable. Is nothing soaked underneath the sound shield? No smoke out the tailpipe?

If yourcompression is low, the piston rings dont make a good seal and oil will sep down into the cyl's and burn off

they said my warranty doesnt cover compression test and i asked how much would it cost for compression test, they said 300 something .... huhuhuhu...

You can get a compression tester for ~$30 and test it yourself. Its pretty easy to do. If you can change spark plugs you can do a coompression test.

increase your weight, 225's like thicker oil. i usually run 10w60 in my car, oil consumption is in spec. dont use additives, they contribute to 1.8t sludging.

dont know, but ive fixed this problem with this method multiple times. could have to do with the lower compression making it a bit easier for oil to enter. or maybe its the seals in the ko4 that have a design flaw. dont really care why, just i just accept that it works.

OK, they do use differnt piston rings than other 1.8t's. Just didnt know if you knew something i didnt. Thanks Ray

Holy Cow! Where'd you pull that out of?

Audi publishes a list of approved oils. I suggest you stick with that.
