Default Loss of boost & power? cincy?

Well, I have the diode mod & manual boost controler like cincy, I normally hit 20-21 PSI then hold around 18-19. I dont always drive with my foot to the floor, but today I went to step on it and noticed no more power, it holds around 9 PSI seems normal up to that point. No CEL. I breifly looked at the pipe to the intake it seems tight. I assume I have a large leak? I did try turning up the boost controler, thinking it may have come out of the locked position, it made no difference turning it up so thats not it. any ideas to look for? Thanks

Thats worth a try, I will at work tomorrow, although wouldnt I just boost past the factory limit and go into limp mode if the diode went bad? Some additional insight is I hold a steady vac at 19psi. if I had a leak wouldnt i loose vac? Again I started to point the finger at the boost controler, so I took it off, same 9 psi.. I sucked through it, it seems clear and if I adjust it I cannot suck through it. it appears to be fine. but if it is all the way up or down same boost. What would a bad DV act like? how can I test my DV? I'm thinking it wont hold more than 9 psi now and it is leaking it by. I checked the intake clamp and lower ic clamp all good did a visual on the charge pipe . no holes I can see.

Check all of your clamps and pipes again, Maybe in the day light.
If it was your DV you'd hear it.

if you still have an airbox, remove the top and if your dv is bad you will get a honking noise. Like already posted, you have a boost leak or bad dv. The vac will stay the same. The extra heat kills the stock dv when boost is increased. A short term fix if it is your dv would be to flip it. Should hold boost a little better untill you get a replacement.
