I recently did a K04-023 swap on my car and currently busy with a custom tune. My Mods include

K04-023
440cc
Forge Intake
63mm DP + Exhaust
Water Meth Injection

Would like to no if its safe for the turbo to hold 18psi of boost till redline ie 6400rpm.

What would be the recommended safe boost at that rev?

What's the max boost i can run at :

5500rpm
6000rpm
6400rpm

as long as you dont mess with the wastegate, you arent going to harm the turbo. BTW, your redline should be higher than 6400rpms, stock is 6800 and most chips move it to 7200rpms

 

but after the boost is raised from a chip or diode do you really make power that high? I can feel where my power drops off and it is around 6kish..

 

A ko3 is only making like 160whp at 6500, a ko4 maybe 180whp. Its a big drop off after 6k on both turbos.

 

Thats what i figured. I can feel my car lose power around 6k
