bumpy: they called me and told me that the code is coming from a bad catalytic converter. thankfully its covered under the audi emissions warranty (8yr 80k mi). they said its clogged and is causing a slight misfire.

Smile Misfire ...fixed!!!
My 2001 TT was misfiring and had very little power. After replacing coils and plugs the misfire continued so it was time for the pros to take a look. It turned out to be a simple vacuum leak!
