i keep getting misfires...not sure why, but the car will jerk and the EPC light will come on, no power, nothin... i have to restart the car but then its fine

 

how old are your coilpacks and plugs? is the coilpack harness ok? check for shorts or ground issues....leaning towards plugs and coils curious what does your battery voltage read?

 

Are you sure the car is misfiring? Scanned for codes?

 

yea... liquid gauge gave me some numbers and i looked those up, said misfire cylinder one and two and mult random misfire...

coilpacks arent too old... got new ones when i got the car...

battery is the original though, ill check my plugs as well to see if those are showing signs of wear and tear..

what are the good ones for chipped? like BKE7s or whatever?

 

I had the same prob with a set of new coil packs... they died. I had the same codes and thats what they were, also make sure one didnt pop up.
