Well I just got a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro Coupe. I like it alot, but I am looking into putting spinning wheels on it. some people find it's tacky, and so do I, if it's on a car that doesnt deserve spinning wheels (I saw a cavalier with them the other day). I like the look of them, and on a classy vehicle they are sick. I was unable to find spinning wheels for the Audi though. I have a 225/40R18 tire, so I need 18" wheels and it just seems that spinning wheels arent made for this model.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get spinning wheels, and approximately how much they'd be?

haha... I'm sorry man. That is funny. Holy crap... I guess I know what he's saying... I mean... I don't necessarily agree... but I understand his meaning. rofl... but the way it came out was absolutely priceless.

but in my opinion... TT's are very classy vehicles... however, TTs with spinning wheels are not classy in my opinion. That's just my opinion. whatever floats your boat. I wouldn't even put chrome wheels on it though. Just like I wouldn't put aluminum wheels on an Escalade.

If you go to the FAQ thread at the top of the forum... there is a wheel offset calculator in there I believe. If not, run a search for offset calculator. With the calculator, you can figure out what size you need. You will most likely need spacers to make them fit though. But it can be done. Post pictures when you get the wheels on too. I'd like to see it.

usually we dont bash people here... but really, if you put spinners on a TT you will get laughed at... we will all be honest too about it... just dont do it

UNLESS, your going for the whole "i want to stand out and be unique" because that would definitely be unique...

The only way I could see you with spinners on is if you but a motor in the trunk also to make it a twin engine TT. That would be cool and I could let the spinners go...

The radio antenna is in the rear window, so if you get it tinted, ask for a non-metallic tint. If you get a metallic tint (like I did) you'll need to get a new antenna because the metal in the tint screws-up radio reception. I replaced the roof phone antenna (2001) with a radio antenna.

I think spinners on a TT would be cool to see.

Embarassing to own, but cool to see.

So, as long as you're not me... Go for it.

Don't let everyone get you down... I hope you expected to see the responses you already got. It's kinda like asking if you should buy a Type-R badge for your TT.

If you have the sack to go through with it, go for it.
And post some pics.

It will also slow you down considerably...
I'd expect youto get beat by stock 180 TT's.
