Unlike most of the TT pics i've seen, my bumpers have an additional bump! see pic(don't know what they are called). Anyone know if these can be removed.The bentley manual does not mention this additional bump. Are these only for canadian tts?

the info i was given was "Canadian spec TT's have those "tumors" on the front and back to meet higher MPH crash rules"

do you think they actually help?

I rearended a lincoln aviatora few weeks ago and my TT took it like a champ. the front grill is somewhat crack, the p/s headlight brackets broke (but headlight still works), and the front bumper is pushed in 1/2inch on p/s.
