. i see lot of SC300 > Soarer // IS300 > Altezza conversions around here.
but a skyline on the other hand, not so easy. every tuner'sdream car.damn american laws for preventing nearly all skylines to be registered over here. (i hear the R-33 is the only one that can be legally registered to be daily driven, but be prepapred to be blasted with paperwork after paperwork). but alas,finally a new skyline(R-35, 3.8L Twin Turbo, 450bhp) should be avail here soon... and also the debut of the new supra (top of the line ver. - 5.0L V-8, 450bhp). it's good to see such a heated rivalry come to U.S. shores.

The Altezza's came with awd and the IS300 didnt. There was a company (not sure if still around) that would import any skyline for you and have it meet emissions and crash requirements for you for a fee. End up buying a $20k used car and paying $40 for it in total. The Apex-i staff just about all drive skylines to work everyday

about MotoRex, they were a good company. business was booming. and yes i've been there and seen their skylines and other nissan imports. why they went out of business? nah, it wasn't the bad business. it was the bad business. they were importing skylines yes, but illegally registering them, forging documents, pretty much making an illegal operation look legal. sooo some of the heads of MotoRex split and formed a new empire:

though they don't import any more vehiclesand that's bc,i'm assuming, their license has been revoked.
... and as for apex'i staff, i've been to apex'i's corp. headquarters down in orange county and have yet to see anyone with a skyline
