im quite new to owning a audi tt i got a 2001 and for some reason the window keeps going down about 2 cm then going back up every time im driving or hit a bump and the cluster is saying my doors open, for me to get this door to say its closed i really have to slam it, and sometimes that doesent even work, any suggestions on what it could be?

 

the switch telling the car your door is closed is most likely broken, or coming out of place

 

where is it located does any one know?

 

look around the door jam for a tab/button that can be pressed in. more than likely it's near the hinge itself.

also try resetting the window. roll the windows up, press it up again, then roll the windows down, then press the button down again, then roll the window up, and press the button up again. and that should reset it.
