hello ive owned tt,s for years this is our little run about shes 01 fsh \not all by audi/ only when cold the tt starts up fine revs are 1500 but has a 20 sec shutter splutter shakes .sounds like a tractor , please help lists of parts replaced maff. dv .plugs. \only serviced /coil pks = wiring was all reinsulted ar the coil pks .vacuum hoses .temp sens had vacuum leak boost test done all fine . no cel lights on .etc ..took to several garages including main audi No faults found or stored need a machanic that knows his stuff fed up buying replacing parts wee never needed
only happens when the tt is cold over night or sitting for hours please help wee dont want to put her into auction owned her for 5yrs spent far too much money on it good old car just had this issue last 3 months

unplug your maf and see if problem persists

 

hi i have put a new maff in it even tried the maff from our other car still the same any ideas cheers

 

do a vagcom log on a cold start, sounds like your adaption

Have a friend there he has excellent knowledge of MKI TT here is his email: stevied3@hotmail.co.uk he was a little sick this might be a very good thing to help you out as it will him.. His brother-in-law has a garage where he worked on his car so he knows the cars how much not sure.. Steve Dennis.
