Need an opinion
So the other night I was at my g/f's house and it was raining and when i left i took off down the street, but when i took my foot off the accelerator there was an aweful sounding squeak. I did some minor tests to see if it was the power steering pump, but it only seems to squeak when the car is engine braking or in Neutral slowing down. It happens when the brakes are not applied eliminating pads and rotors also visually inspected both and have 40%+ remaining pads. It does not occur during acceleration but when i take my foot off the accelerator it starts instantly in gear and in neutral prior to applying brakes. I also think that it may have something to do with the rain because it has been raining on and off the last few days. Lastly after driving for about 30 min. it will go away, but if i shut the car off and start it up again 20 minutes later it continues to happen. I was curious to know if any ever experienced anything of this nature. I had a few ideas of my own. I figured possible the clutch throw out bearing, my drive belt does need replacing and will be doing that today..hopefully the weather improves. Thank you for any input you may have.
