Talking Negativity on K04-001

Why is that many people has negativity on K04-001 ?

I posted few days ago about my future plan for my car.

A lot of people repiles was negative

I know if you change k03s -> k04, you might get 10-20hp/no torque.

I have to replace my turbo, my car is old(00 TT, 54K), almost 10 yrs lol.

I mean I don't wanna wasting my money on 10yrs old car for BT Setup, it

will be worthless. One point, I thought about to get T3/T4 50trim, but you

need new clutch, rod, FMIC, and etc..... I have 2 cars, it is hard to just

maintain them.(Plus im student and very low income)

I guess my point is that really K04-001 is bad choice for me ??

Thank You,

I don't think that it's a bad choice just a lot of time and money and not alot of gains for it. Look into getting a turbo back exhaust clutch and Unitronics stage 2 chip you will have more power than adding a k-04. Hope this help a little.

Exclamation Hi,

It is not dead yet, but it is about to...

Oils leaking badly and sometimes when i opens the hood i can see the

steams from turbo. I went to 3 diff shops to check on it, all 3 shops quotes

that I need a new turbo or rebuild.

that might not be the turbo that could be a loose/bad line to it. If the turbo was going it sounds like a drill...so I've heard. I'm no mechanic though so I could be wrong.
