I have a chance to buy a brand new (no miles) '04 TT Quattro 3.2L DSG Coupe, Dolomite Gray, Ebony leather, Bose upgrade for $35K out the door. Good deal? This is at an Audi dealer. I know the TT's aren't holding their value, which concerns me a bit. But I may get them down to $34K at best, which is about $2K under what the dealer paid. Car is perfect. Just be sitting for awhile. Has a S-line badge on the side.

Wow...nada responses.
Dealer dropped the price to $34K out the door and added an Audi 5 year/50K bumper to bumper full service warranty. I'll decide tomorrow if I want it. Not my favorite color combo, and it kills me that the car is on the stock 17" wheels. I also would have bought the Premium package, but for a $7K discount, it's good enough.
Drove it today and DSG is awesome. I was surprised the paddles are so close to the stalks though. And I guess the Launch Control is deprogrammed and the car tops out at 130? That sucks on both accounts as I live in Germany and drive around 130 as normal. But, I really want the car as more of a Nurburgring tool, so top speed is less important as late braking and drive out of bends.
Hope to hear from some of you!

RE: New '04 For Sale
An '04 new in '06?! Wow!!! If you want the higher speed just chip it. It will raise (can raise) the speed limiter. From looking around on line 34 doesnt seem bad for a brand new one. The '06s are in the 45+ range. I cant speak for the six cylinder paddle cars, but I love my 01 225hp.
Well, I bought it! Dealer threw in a complete full service to change every fluid (service isn't free in Germany) which cost the US-spec Audi broker $500. I told them I wouldn't take it unless the local German Audi dealer did a complete PDI within 48 hours of delivery. Afterall, the car is 2 years old. German service blows away what you get in the States. They have 110% pride in everything they do, and if something isn't perfect, they'll make it perfect. Dealer also threw in a 1:18 scale model R8, and Audi polo shirt, and 2 3-day tickets to the upcoming F1 race at Hockenheim ($750 value).
I'm up to about 175 miles on the clock. Driving it easy during the break in (under 4,5K rpm). I gave it a good wash yesterday then garaged it. I won't drive it the rest of the weekend so I can wax it and condition the leather, and prep the glass for tinting. Should be good to go after that.
I'm lovin' it!
