Default New to audi forums

Hey whatsup guys im new to audi forums although i have been reading it for the past few months. I have a 02 tt quattro that i bought almost a year ago. Anyway i think its about time to start doing some mods my freind just bought a full exhaust for his suby it was 650 for 2.5 inch pipe. i was wondering if i sould do what he did and go the custom route cuz 650 for turbo back seems like a good deal. if so what size piping and what mufflers sould i get i dont want my car sounding like rice. thanks for the help guys.

A aftermarket is going to put you in the $1200-1500 range. So if you can get a nice custom you should be good. Most customs go 3" piping and with a magniflow or borla muffler. You can put a resinator on it to help lower the sound and reduce droning. Some have even gone strait pipes and like the sound. But these choices are yours to make.

Also if you want a larger gains for less money chip it. Then when you get more funds get the exhuast.

Finally, i like the Zach Morris refferance, yes Save by the Bell RULES!!

welcome, Thanks to all the helpful information from all the guys and girls here i have been able to identify and target specific
items/mods that would suit my taste for modification on my car. All i can say is read, and always ask questions even if your not sure about the answers/you don't want to be flamed for "noob" questions, because we all benefit in the end by helping each other out...
