Default New guy with a few q's

I feel a bit odd asking some of there questions but I guess this is how we all learn. OK here it goes , Wife is from Europe so for most of her life she's seen Audi’s all over the place , she loves the TT , ok now I see TT's here in Florida all of the time , sometimes I see them with dual exhaust , sometimes with single exhaust ? Is the one with single exhaust the 180HP one and the dual 225? Again sorry for the questions.

Thanks

I am interested in a 2001 TT that has dual exhaust. It's only a 5-speed and I think it's 180HP. Are all dual-exhaust TTs 225HP, or was there an option to have dual exhaust on 180HP models?

None of the Turbo TT's (180 or 225HP) have Dual Exhaust Systems. The 225HP models have DUAL Outlet Mufflers but are still
Single Exhaust. None of the 180 HP Models have Dual outlet mufflers unless they put on an aftermarket Muffler and changed the
rear valance. All the 225HP Models also have 6 Speed transmissions whereas the 180 HP Models have 5 speed trannies and in later
years the tiptronic automatic. None of the 180HP models ever had 6speed transmissions. So the best way to tell if it's a 225HP or a 180HP is the transmission.
