thanks guys i think i will go with the suspension first too. i like the look of not having a wheel gap !

To answer ouTTie914's question -- I am looking for a more "sleeper" look. I really dont want all the chrome or big wing or anything crazy, just a couple little things. I want a little drop in suspension and better rims, maybe clear corners and thats bout it.
Performance i really think i want an intake for now and maybe later on an exhuast.
To me it has enough power at this time, I just want a couple things to make it "my own" with a little extra

To answer randomloginname's question -- Can you explain to me what else I am going to need to do. I found this link for some lowering springs that dont require new shocks ! Is this really true or is there anything else I HAVE to do when lowering it. I dont want more than 1" if all possible, but we will see..

Start looking a prices. Would you be able to install the suspension, or are you taking it to a shop?
I don't know what your budget is like, but if possible do them both at the same time.
Hell while the wheels are off upgrade the brakes!

Is your TT Quattro, or FWD?
Depends on that, and which springs you get to determine if anything else is needed. Like a rear camber kit to bring the alignment back into spec.
Lowering springs will wear out the stock struts and shocks. Can't tell you how long it will take. Depends on the condition of your stockers.
Most (myself included) just replace the struts and shocks while doing the springs. Kinda saves time, grief, and aggravation.

Most importantly don't try to "half as$" anything. Especially when it comes to suspension and handling!

Hey i havent dropped my car or gotten my rims (which i will have in a week) but im going to do both at the same time springs/ rims my car is just gonna come drop from the lift and look so sexy lol. cant wait

well, more weight i suppose. if you're gonna go 17"s, slam the **** out of your car and make sure they're wide 17"s so it'll be pretty decent looking. as for 18"s, you'll have to compromise the light weight of 17"s but damn, they sure look hot, esp. staggered with a flush *** offset + drop.

kinda glad i went back to 18"s... [:-]
