Just bought some new rubber, I got Eagle F1 Ds-G3s in 225/40/18s. just wondering if anyone has these or knows of anything better. i was told that these were pretty much the best i could get for a tire that is sticky as hell and has the stiffest sidewall....

I also need new tires. - What are some suggestions for tires that have GREAT grip, but are good for year round driving. - I hate having to buy snow tires. - Last year I made it around PERFECTLY with year round tires on the 7 series. - What are the views on GOOD year round/sticky tires?

 

SHouldnt you of asked before you bought tires? But they are suppose to be good tires.

I like the Kuhmo ASX's for all season. They got me out of 4+" of snow, plus good in all other climates.

 

i have toyo proxes TPTs..... i heart them for all seasons

 

I've read a couple of news reports on toyo's prox & they always came in dead last.

 

idk man... for me they are nice..

 

I dont know about the TPT's but i know the proxy4's are really good. I dont think i ever met someone that wasnt happy with them

what im interested in is a good summer tire... im about to buy new 17s for summer use only

 

Dont get toyo t1-r or s tires. They are overpriced and i had lackluster performance. I was thinking about getting some kuhmo MX orSPT tires myself
