odd question
ok so i just got my carcoupleek ago, and i have figured out most of how everything works, like the thermostat, and other luxury goodies, but i have one question. what is the little plastic flap thing that is located behind the reading lamps used for? is it for holding bills and such? i couldn't find any information on it in the owner's manual. thanks.
It's only pointless until you have a ray of golden sun gleaming into your eye...
Personally I think it's clever, granted I hardly use it... BUT if I ever need to, it's nice to know my TT has it!
Plus it's just one of those little features you can use to impress passengers!
I remember when I first got my TT I couldn't get over how the seats worked!
I was so impressed that with one lever I could lean back and go down!! Of course this was after I got over the switchblade key(which I still play with when I'm bored) and button for the gas tank!

I think I have used it like twice, but as for the key... I still play with it also when im bored. I also like rolling down and up my windows when i put the key in the door and turn it all the ways to the right or left. Its great way to impress people.
Don't ever play with your switch key while it's in your front pocket! Get's very weird looks from people....especially at the office
I have hadto pull it out on show them......my "Switch Key" that it. You people are sick !!

If you use the key to lock the car and hold it the windows will roll up automatically - if you unlock it and hold both windows will roll down.
As for remotely doing it - some aftermarket alarms will do it for you - don't know if you can program in-car system to do so though
