I DARE SOMEONE TO DRINK IT!! https://www.audiforums.com/upfiles/2...i140512728.jpg the battery was dying during the pic so its a little blury and im to lazy to get tools and take it apart but you can see the fittings used: 1/4" fitting threaded on both ends that goes into a 1/4" to i believe a 1/2" fitting. The hose i used is 5/8" ID hose i got from Pep Boys. (sorry no skus/ product #'s) https://www.audiforums.com/upfiles/2...x604278201.jpg |
RE: oil catch can
thanks! those are the plugs i was looking for at home dept and they didnt have them so i'll be going to Lowes
|
RE: oil catch can
Do you have to add any hose for this?
|
RE: oil catch can
if im right no you dont as its cut into the PVC vent pipe which returns unburned gasses and unused oil lol back to the throttle body, this system stops oil build up in the air filter and throttle body which is a pin in the butt for logging systems up
|
RE: oil catch can
Cool! Is the filter directional? It looks to be in one of the pics and it looks like it returns to the PVC thingie?
|
RE: oil catch can

RE: oil catch can
i love when people who dont know about whats going on answer other peoples questions.
1 yes you need some hose 2 yes the filter is directional 3 the oil is separated from the bypass gas before it goes back into the intake. if there is any other questionsi'll be happy to answer. |
