I'm drooling over the APR exhaust kit, but wow... $2600.00 That's a lot of green. I wonder what kind of horsepower gains it's good for?
not enough to be worth $2600,I promise

shouldnt need to spend much more than a grand for a 225 exhaust system. Get a 42dd downpipe and a decent catback and your golden.

What's a 42dd downpipe? Who sells them? How would you guys rate the flow of the stock cat? The APR system is 3" the whole way back including the turbo pipe and the cat.

I checked out the 42DD page and it's a nice package, but what diameter are the cat-back systems? The APR package is 3" all the way through.

That EuroSport Tuning system reads like a cool exhaust. Is a T409 stainless steel system as good as a T304 stainless steel system? I've always read that the T304 stuff is better. I was looking at the EuroSport Tuning pics and the Neuspeed pics and the two systems look so different. The Neuspeed system has the straight pipe attaching to the muffler from the right side and the EuroSport system appears to attach from the left. What's with that?

I am going with 42DD downpipe and my 2.5 borla, which should be good for my K04 and the psi that im pushing. Once I go with the BT kit then I will worry about a custom 3" catback.

So many people concentrate on increasing Hp without concern for improving the handling and braking in order to handle the added power. A Neuspeed 19mm rear sway bar should be your next mod. It will make the car handle more neutral in corners, you should then consider coilovers and a BBK somewhere not to far into the future. Having a bunch of Hp really only benefits you in a straight line. Making these cars handle more like a sports car through the twisties is a lot more fun than racing between stoplights.
=====
its true..having a bunch of horsepower can benefit high power torque and will experience a better fuel economy with the efficient BBK performance parts. producing optimum horsepower, torque, and throttle response.
