They aren't that fast stock.
That was running only 5psi boost on a turbo I pulled off of my old eclipse.
It would be disgustingly fast with more boost and a better matched turbo.
They are damn close to 2000 pounds... Power to weight is a bitch.
Yeah... spicy nacho is better. I just didn't know about it back then.

So wish i kept my 1.6 and turboed it. A gt28r or rs would of made that car extremely fast. I had a leaky roof and didnt feel like replacing it and it just broke 100k miles

chips are fine, just look out for a diverter valve once you get the chip... sometimes those like to give you a little headache post chipping/flashing.
follow the FAQ on starting out such as, chip/dv/intake and then into a boost gauge and exhaust. thats generally a good route to take
