Default The old girl lost a few pounds tonight.

Wish I had a camera, but as it is, you'll need to wait until I can get some daytime shots with the cellphone, but I installed one of our battery kits tonight, with a 26lb Odessey battery. We have much smaller batteries, but what I'm using is probably what you'd want to go with for street use, and I can always swap for a smaller battery if/when the time comes, as the kit is very adaptable. Probably will relocate to the rear of the car when I can, but wire length kinda kept the options down tonight.

Thats what I put in the car, including the cut-off switch, but I skipped the remote cable (as cool as that could be, I could see some jackass killing power to the car in a parkinglot)

Thats a universal kit, but it didn't fit as well as I would have liked, so I'm going to put together a list of possible changes and give them to the boss tomorrow, see if we can't get something TT specific. : )

Or simply to work for an aftermarket company specializing in euro cars. As soon as I can, I'm throwing a pedal set on the car, and then I'm gonna try to modify the Porsche throttle pedal to fit (they hinge from the floor). Crazy adjustability with our nice pedal.

Also adding a windsheld banner, I'll go with 'Rennline' but I can get anything I want, we cut our own vinyl too.

Wow! Have you dyno'd it? How much hp gain did you see?

j/k

Looks nice. But didn't that save about 10 lbs? It it really noticable? I can see the bennefit if you need to get some engine bay real estate, though.

the battery in the rear trunk would be nice...leaves a ton of room for other goodies in the engine bay....
