RE: Overheating! Any Suggestions?
its not under the battery.
its on the back of the radiator halfway between bottom and top on driver's side.
your problem is the FCM (fan control module.) and thats under the battery box.

you can fix whatever you want first but if your fans aren't running when the AC is on then its your FCM thats fubar'd. I know hte FCM is $100 because I just replaced mine.
You could also try and replace both fans, they are $100 ea as well.

well since we are on the subject how about if the fans kick on after the cars temp goes up one noche from the half way point and i changed my termastate already with a cooler one. i was hoping that by puttin in a cooler one the engine would run cooler. also everyday lately i turn on my car and it say i have to add antifreeze until the car is warmed up. i'm not sure if i have a leak or anythin else. i don't have any smoke coming out the exhaust and i also check my sparkplugs to see if it's the headgasket but nuttin spark plugs where just worn so i replaced those, car runs sweet now but still have the temp and antifreeze problem i have always had the temp prob tho so i'm not to worried about that but the antifreeze disappering and then comin back when car is warm is kinda freakin me out!
