So i just bought me a 2001 audi tt about a week ago for a really good price. This car overheats within like 20 mins of driving it goes way past the middle :/ what can it be ? waterpump or ... ? also i went to auto parts to get it scanned and i got this one code , P0171 ? any help guys is greatly appreciated Thanks

I just found out i have a antifreeze leak . So maybe that could be a reason to alot of over heating :/ . Havent been able to get it checked out yet

 

I saw this video yesterday on Youtube, his TT was overheating. Cause was a cracked fan in the water pump. Thought you might want to watch it.

I would get this repaired first and then evaluate from there.

 

Thanks guys really appreciate your help . i found out that it is the water pump which i will be replacing with the all metal & as well as the MAF
