I wouldn't call that a total loss, unless you want it to be. I paid $10,450 for my TT with 109K miles on it, and crashed it with closer to 130K miles on it, with damages totaling $10,900, and they weren't considering totaling it. Nice cars get special attention paid to them to put them back on the road. It's not a throwaway car like a camry or something.

I'm located in southern mississippi. Got word today from my buddy at the body shop. The car is totalled but I haven't heard anything officially about a check yet.

sorry to hear that. Gonna join the 'Round TTwo' club and buy another, or move on to something else?

I wish I could get another one. I'm actually gonna buy a 98 Ford Taurus.... BUT it's only 2500 bucks and only had 65k miles on it. So I will be able to buy it outright to save up some cash again to hopefully get an S4 sometime soon. I'll still be lurking around here from time to time. Is there anybody that wants anything off the car? I'm going tomorrow to gank some stuff off it. I know I'm gonna be selling the APR Exhaust and the DV. Maybe the boost gauge.

careful of what you take, unless you're buying it back outright. If the adjuster hasn't set a $$ amount on it yet, you could get less back if there are parts missing. If the adjuster HAS set an amount, technically, the insurance company owns the car, and you're stealing from them (and they might want some of their money back).

Also, it totally sucks getting barraged with requests for inane little parts.

With that said... I might be interested in your ECU depending on what the revision letter is at the end of the part number.

Well the car is "officially" gone. The only thing I ended up pulling was the exhaust and the diverter valve. I had to check myself into the hospital a few hours after I made the post about pulling stuff from the car. Turns out I have a mild concussion. I was feeling dizzy and had the worst headache I've ever had. But I'm fine now. Sorry I didn't get a chance to check on here before I went to pull the parts or else I would have pulled what I could. Anyway, I'm gonna be selling the APR Catback as soon as I get it cleaned up. It's a little dirty. I'm also gonna be throwing the the Diverter valve in with the exhaust. I'll make a formal post about it when I'm ready to sell it.

Oh yeah, the Taurus... F*&^ that. I had a Taurus before and I got to thinking about it I just can't go back to it. I'm pretty much set on a Jeep Wrangler. Don't worry I'll be back to an Audi once I save up the money. Found a really good deal on the Jeep. That's all for know. Time for some more muscle relaxer's and some Tylenol #3.
