Smile Long term lean condition

Could be.......
MAF
O2 Sensors
Vacuum leak
Clogged fuel filter

To test the maf just unplug while running & if it gets better it is either bad or just dirty & you can clean it.
If you dont know when the fuel filter was changed last it probably needs changing.
To test for vacuum leaks or boost leaks a tool you can buy or just make yourself.
(what you need to make it)... a 3" fitting clean out adapter (see lowes or home dump) a shrader valve or air nipple.. a drill to make the hole in the clean out cap....and an air source to fill your system. (do a search for better more in depth directions)
Do you have a VAG & a laptop?

This should get you started & hopefully it helps you,
Eric
