hi im new to this forum from leaving another forum i just purchased my tt a month ago and car recently startd idling rough and once in while throwing out alot of white smoke and was told it could be coil packs. so i switch all 4 coil packs n put in new ngk spark plugs. and went to check oil n it was empty so i added castrol sythetic 10w-30 4 quarts to it. n i notice that some oil does leak around oil cap,

please help.

ye dip stick was empty i added 4.5 quarts but car still rugh idling n shaking alot n as rpms are rising around 2.5 it feels like turbo is hickuping (hard to explain)

antifreeze seems to stay at same level tho im tempted to drainit/put new one in if i knew how (previous car was jeep crand cherokee 96 new alot of things on it but still learning things on tt)

what kind of oil did you use? i use to have this problem when i was using mobile 1, then i switch back again to 5-40 castrol. every 1k miles i lose about 1 quart before.

 

mechanic said since car has 100k miles he put catrol full synthetic 10w-30
