Default Poor FM reception aftermarket radio

Hi,

I own a TT MK2 in wich i've changed the radio to a Pioneer AVH 3300BT model. Including a power amplified antenne adapter. But still my reception is very poor. Strange thing is that when i pull out the radio from the dashboard the reception gets much better.

Any ideas??

Thanx!!

1. Check the ground on the radio.

2. Make sure the power antenna is wired up. It took me a year to figure out the guy that installed mine only wrapped the wire up, he never connected it! When i did it was instant and complete reception.

Good luck!
