prime oil system
Nope, sorry, haven't thought it past the idea phase yet, I'm sure theres tons of info on the net though, its not exactly vehicle specific, you should be able to adapt something from almost any writeup you find.
thats doesnt seem needed. If you want to run a your oil cooler you can always just run more oil. Just use a big passat filter or even bigger napa filter.
napa, passat, normal 1.8t filter

with the passat filter will let you hold 5qrts. The napa one takes it out to 5.75 - 6qrts. Now that will give it plenty of time to cool and reduce the chance of sluge.

ya but the logic behind the oil cooler is that it is just for that purpose instead of being mixed in with the water system. its kinda weird that 180 degree plus water(coolant) is cooling the oil. i think the oil cooler will be much more effective in cooling the oil at those temps
Yea when I get home im going to go with some setup kinda like steves from Modshack, but I was wondering if you could hook up the oil cooler to the turbo? So that would be really what the oil cooler would be affecting
idk about that... but the oil being cooled from the oil cooler will eventually get to the turbo so it still will help as the oil cooler is under pressure..i think i'll skip the electric fan part though...steve also said he would skip that part as the fan is some what of a pain in the *** i guess and doesnt help all that much
