Yeah my rotors are pretty worn with a nice lip on them.

 

Sounds good, make sure the parts are for the front. How'd it go with your hazard relay?

 

I've read in the past that the drilled rotors are great, but that the slotted tend to really eat up pads. Any truth in that? I'm soon to be in the market for rotors and pads and have been wondering what the consensus is.

 

Don't the slots help clean the brake pads? If this is the case I'd image you would go through pads faster.

 

Braking really eats up pads.. I recommend you avoid it.

 

you recommend avoiding slotted/drilled? should i just get the regular ones?

 

I picked it up the other day, I just havent had the time to go ask a audio store to take out my head unit for me. This weekend for sure.
