Default Question for TT owners

Hey all tt guys. I currently own an a6 with all the mods seen below. I am looking to get a smaller car and stick with audi. I am thinking the TT route. I have read all the FAQ above and I just wanted to get some opinions from owners. I have been looking at a 2002 TT with 120,000. I know I can get the guy to lower the price, he has it completly moded out.

So my question to you guys is should I buys this car with high milage with a warrenty? If so what should I look out for with it above 120,000. I know he has records so I can check if he has had it done.

Thanks Guys.

mainly who did the work and is it done right. But with all higher milage cars, things will start to need to be replaced. So if you do buy it, plan to spend a $1k+ in minor things like fluid changes and other little maintence jobs. Also you may need another timing belt change soon enough also

example... i got my 02 a few months ago and it had 49k miles so it was still low in the miles... if i were you, depending on how much you have,i would go with a TT with less miles and do your own mods OR, wait for the new TT 6sp quattro to come out because those are supposed to be really nice... but thumbs down to a TT with so many miles

you'd better be paying not a lot above 10K for that thing!

you just have to keep looking, don't jump on the first one you see.
If i would have gotten the first one i drove, i would have paid 22,000 for a TT with 60K on it.
Now i drive a TT with 13 K on it that i got for 20,000

Im sorry but those tips are WAY to big for the car. And i think its a little overpriced still. $12k does seem about right for this car..

Yea im also curious on how he got rid of the reat seats...I had my older brother sit in the back of my car, and were both 6'2", and had him ride in there for 20 min while I went to auburn with friends. After seeing the sign that says "ACTHUNG!!! 4'11" MAX!" I think Ill do away with the rear seats too...haha...

Other then that - For 120,000 That car looks freaking amazing.
I would attempt to tamper w/ the price however...He does have alot of nice mods and im sure he is going to try to keep the price up with that statement.

And as I learned with my 88 Camaro "Chrome don't get you home." same applies with his car imho.
