Quick BOV ?
How do you know what bovs are closed at idle? Is there any certain thing to look for? I know hks are b/c thats mostly what everyone runs but i dont really want an hks. I seen a sard r2d2 bov online that sounded okay does anyone know anything about them?
The SARD is in FACT a twin piston according to this site and will work http://www.optionimports.com/r2d2.html jsut make sure you get a 25mm flange or find a way to get a 34mm to work
as always cincy thanks for the help. but i do have one last question. after going on youtube and listening to some different bovs i think i want a greddy type s or rs is there any kinda of adapter flange i need to buy in order to make it work or will it simply bolt up?
Synapse is open at idle, but works great if it is recirculated. Its almost instant reaction going from boost to vacuum as it is a pull type system. We have 2 vacuum ports pulling the valve back and one boost only port on the side of the bov. So the valve has almost an instant reaction type to boost/vacuum. The one thing i've noticed with the bov is that it holds boost great in between gears.
