Default quick head removal question 1.8t

long story short - chain tensioner went and belt jumped a bit. valves bent a little. with my fingers crossed last weekend I replaced the belt, got some power back was still running rough.

I have the bently book and spent the last 3 hours taking off houses and connections.

tough part looks to be near the turbo, what is the best way to handle the exhaust side? I'm thinking of leaving the intake on.

also, do I have to do the whole timing belt procedure?

any tricks our advice would help. Office is closed for good friday and kids are at day care. I want the head off and at the machine shop before wife gets home.

thanks - I am new to audi and this site but both are pretty fun
