I am new to the TT scene. i have been readin the forums to learn from all the experiences you guys/girls have compiled.

i bought a 2000 Audi TT 180 Q, it came With a GIAC. i have a Forge 007 DV en route via USPS which will hopefully get here soon.

My question is the following: How can i raise the boost level on my car to reach the max potential of the K0? i am aware that the max it can push is 18psi chipped but how do i get it up there?

 

If its chipped, its probably already there, thats part of the re-programming.

Buy a boost gauge if you haven't already, if you're gonna mod, its invaluable.

 

Agree, you should pick up a boost gauge. You should alreadybe at 18psi and more with the chip.

 

++ What all the others have said, if its chipped you should see 18psi. If not chip it, then exhaust and intake. After that you can go FMIC and a bunch of other stuff. Good Luck!

 

youll need a boost gauge... the turbo is a K03 and you can probably get up to 20-22psi safetly... go to modshack.info and look at the stage 3, thats how you can adjust your boost
