I ran 13.9 in my bone stock S2000 back in '01. That was the AP1 motor with only 153 lb ft. I don't think that you'd have much of a chance.

Was that going downhill?

180HP plus TURBO is not faster than 180HP no turbo (It's probably slower, actually).

cant make that comparison w/o weight and tq numbers. A heavier car w/ tq would be as fast as a lighter car w/ little tq. Basically a fwd 180 vs a GSR teg.

I'm saying all other conditions equal.

Generally a turbo car with the same hp as a NA car will have less power under the curve.

the curves are 100% differnt. The TT was made for great low end tq like a big v6 but get 1.8 fuel economy. The GSR doesnt have any real power until the TT's powerband is already taking a noise dive. TT peaks tq just over 2k and the GSR peaks tq low 6k.

It wasn't going downhill but it was with a 6.5k clutch dump!

Make sure to disclose that to your buyer when you go to sell your car.

I sold that car 4 years ago with a new clutch replaced by Honda as part of a recall. Thats the only reason I took it to the track anyway. I knew I was getting a new clutch. Other than that I don't think I ever launched the car. We just might be getting a little off topic now I just thought I could add a little something since I had an S2K for a year and a half.
