Unfortunately I think there are more people here looking for answers than have any. I don't know anything about your drain plug, sorry!

But I have the same car as you--a moro blue 2004 roadster. Mine has a blue top and doesn't have original wheels--I'll fix that someday. I LOVE this car! It's so much fun to drive. Can't wait for warm weather so I can put the top down.

 

Yours looks like a lighter blue than mine, but that's not the denim color, is it?
