So i've been looking to get my rear lights tinted. Should I cover up the whole light or should (can?) i leave a sort of 'hole' where the reverse lights are? (Silver 02)

If anyone has any pictures that would be great!

 

 

I use to have my rear tinted. Then some @$$**** key'd my lights. I guess he wanted to see if it was painted on or tinted. Either way, I just removed them.

My tails are tinted. I love them. They are all tinted.

 

Should also mention, ontop of getting my rear lights key'd. I woke up one morning and noticed a mark on my rear bumper. Upon closer inspection, I realized some blind fool backed into my rear with a tow hitch. Taking a chunk (pinkie size) of my bumper. Looked around the area where I lived. I only see 1 car with a tow hitch. I really think this fool did it, never asked him about it cause he seemed to be crazy.

 

i wanna get mine from http://www.jonstintedtails.com/products.htmthey come out on point i have a friend that got his from there looked good. i don't want to mess mine up plus a shop told me 80 each taillight so i was like for that i'd rather order a whole new set in case i get pulled over i can put stock ones back on. if anyone is selling theirs let me know!

 

its pretty easy to DIY get some niteshade(spray tint) and your good and then a clear coat spray i was gonna leave the reverse unpainted but forgot when i painted anyways they look great so i think

 

mine are in my sig. Did it myself, yet to clear it but they look good already.

 

I heard nightshade kills your ability to see or be seen at night

are there any other Tint-ish options for TTs?

 

I actually did mine with Brilliant Black (stock TT color) Duplicolor (lots of prep work but came out great)...It is very visable at night and moderate visability in the day...definitly not dangerous IMO. A guy in the shop next to my work paints cars and told me to bring them by for a free shot of clear...just haven't had time yet.
