Removing alternator on '96 A6q 2.8
Hi ya'll,
I'm new here, so please forgive if this has been asked and answered a thousand times already. I need to replace my alternator, per my mechanic, and I was just wondering if the only way to do this is to remove the bumper and fiddle with the radiator to get it out? It's probably silly to think I can just unbolt-unwire,drop out and then reverse the process to get her back in huh?
I have no problem doing this myself.....unless it entails the whole bumper thing.....kinda have qualms about that!
That's in advance for any help with this!
Michelle
