Okay...so I just realized something. I might very well be retarded, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I know that on the 180's there's a single side mount intercooler. However, on the opposite side that doesn't have the intercooler, is there suppose to be anything connecting on to the intercooler pipe? I noticed today that one side is completely empty and has the open pipe, which leads to the other side with the intercooler....

Just want to make sure that's normal.

 

No. Everything is fine.

 

That pipe connects the 225's ic's. Since we dont have 2, it just sits there doing nothing.

 

I wouldnt say nothing. Its still a cross brace for the front end.

 

The welds on the pipe are just spot welded and it doesnt make the car any more ridged. I just removed mine a week ago and noticed no difference whats so ever. If you think its important, thats your prospective.

 

It does make a good place for oil to accumulate during an oil filter change.

 

Very true, not to mention lets it drain oil away from the pan [:@]
