Roadster roll bars(in a coupe)?
i would love!!!! a cage. Maybe someday if i decide to go all out with mine. I dont see me doing a ton of performance, but i would like to do some wicked suspension/brakes and track my car...
I know Stable Energies makes a harness bar, I think they used to carry the cage as well. Expensive piece of kit though.

You would have to, unless you design some sort of structural support behind the seats. The bars in a coupe are very short and do not run to the floor.
the only good convertible, is a retractable hard top. Like the bmw, lexus. I don't like the fact that the top on a roadster is a "wear item". Seems like there should be a better option. Seems like such a waste when I see a sick Porsche with a raggity *** canvas top.
That's why the only good vert is a retractable hard top. They could get rid of the useless back seats, and have the top fold into the back seat. It would help center the weight, and help keep trunk space.

VW Eos is a good lookin hardtop convertable.
anyway,
It WOULDN'T be functional, because you already have an A and C pillar for rollover protection, and it wouldn't stiffen up the car any.
There ARE some pretty good points to tie a half cage into in the TT. We got lucky there, as long as you're willing to pull some paneling. Theres some fat tubing for side impact bracing, you'll see the bottom bracket for it if you pull the rear seat. You can use the 2 points that the rear seat backs lock into (where everyone installs a 'brace'), as well as the seatbelt mount points for the rear seats for supports. You could make a badass harness bar with those points.

You could do a seat delete kit with some roadster hoops. It would be functional, look good,
