I have a question about my rear brake system is the back rotors or discs? i need new ones and im not sure what to buy. Thanks

Yes...

i believe rotors are disks. The other style is DRUMS which the TT does not have. All 4 wheels use disk brakes...(calipers/rotors/pads)

 

They are rotors front and back. Check out sites like ECS tuning to get the correct part number. I dont think theres a differnece between the 180hp and 225hp models, but dont quote me on that.. !

 

There is a difference in FWD 180's. 180 quattros' and 225's are the same on the front. For the rear they are all different!
I didn't buy rear discs from ECS because they are the wrong size for my 180 quattro.
Instead I got them from here.
