When I had my bigger turbo installed the extra boost blew off an IC hose too. You really need to tighten them down good cuz if a little oil gets into the hoses that helps them slip off.

Did it blow off the TB or at the ic? I would try to get to it with the bumper on first and from underneith if its on the ic

Hmm... very good to know, it is off the IC. I have a small garage space to work with and I need to get it done tonight. I think I need to hire someone with smaller hands.

So I took out the battery and the Samco hose was right there. The guy put on too small of a clamp. So I went in and fixed it on. The only thing I am worried about is the knock sensor. We'll see today though, I have to jumpstart the car then pull the engine codes, if any, no cel yet. Anyone caused a knock by the hose blowing?

I've seen this happen before on a 225, only the guy blew off the hose just before the TB. The guy just laughed. He was driving and it blew off because he was running 22psi, he pulled over, clamped it back on and went on his way, satisfied that he was running so much boost it was blowing off hoses.

Your engine is very unlikely to have ingested anything too especially if it disconnected at the IC...although you probably got a nice oily mess outta your IC (well maybe not with a brand new turbo install).

The engine shuts off right after the hose blows off so nothing can get sucked in or damaged

The engine feels like it is in limp mode. I got it started but soon as I applied some gas it died.
