Default service time

Hey, just got one of those Innova 3100 ODB2 readers to help me manage the TT better (cheaper). Great to reset trouble codes, but also wanna reset the "service now" lights. Any ideas?? Who knew a simple plugs, filters, and oil change would take so long?? I think the person who designed where to put the oil filter is an extra from Cirque du Soleil as you need to be a contortionist to get in there.
cheers for any help,
Sorta

Default RE: service time

I posted on this last month, Search the forum for "SERVICE LIGHT" or look in your Owner's manual, it's well documented in there how to do it without VAG-COM. Your service reader/reset device is likely not capable of doing the VAG method to reset it.

thanks for that. Instructions slightly different than you published, but the owners manual is fine. Push trip reset and then push clock button at the same time until reset to next service interval. I was also told by VAG that there was no "user" overide. Next step is to investigate the GIAC mapping kit and a short shift kit. I will search this resource well before asking.
cheers,
Sorta.
